Anisha Pethkar, Fundraising Leader
Anisha is currently an undergraduate student at Loyola University Chicago majoring in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience with a minor in Healthcare Administration. She is also on a pre-med track with aspirations to be a physician. Previously, she worked with GIAHC as a member of the social media committee. She is also involved with the American Medical Women’s Association as the Cervical Cancer Taskforce Advocacy Committee Leader. She is passionate about issues regarding healthcare inequity, especially in marginalized communities. She believes that access to basic healthcare should be available to everyone regardless of their gender, race, sexual orientation, or economic status. She is excited to work with GIAHC because of the amazing work they do to spread awareness about cervical cancer and the HPV vaccine, and she is grateful for the opportunity to continue these efforts.
